Is it possible to use elastomeric paint to paint interior walls? I have a lot of spider web like shrinkage cracks on the render so thought this type of paint might help. Any draw backs?

Try a small sample area and see how it works!

I suppose it should work fine. Drawbacks; smell (stronger and longer lasting than regular interior paint), slow cure, will not harden like regular paint. Might be best to use as an undercoat.
