I just painted my walls with a dark green base. Then I mixed a quart of light green paint with a gallon of faux glaze and sponged over the dark green. I hate it and want to start over with a light color scheme. How do I prepare the dark sponged walls to paint over a light color?

Prime your walls for a neutral white background. This way you won't have any problems with coverage.

You didn't mention the type of paint or glaze, oil or latex. Prime your walls with the same type as the paint/glaze. Example; If latex paint and glazed was used then use a good latex primer like Gripper or Zinsser 123.
