We just painted some walls with oil paint since it had oil previously a slightly darker color than what was on the walls and you can see some roller marks. Can I just roll on another coat of paint without trimming it first to cover? How can I guarantee that it will cover the roller marks?

Wow, umm first off tell me you are not putting oil based paint over drywall. You should use only latex or water based paints on drywall and oil on metal surfaces. If you use oil it will be very tough to get rid of the roller marks. Well you will have to sand it smooth and then apply another coat <preferably latex> to cover it up. That is all i can think of.

Thank you
