To give your living room a nice splash of colour, without it being to drastic I would go with something like Mystical Sea from Behr, that would give you great colour in your room without being too overwhelming.

I think a hunter green or a burgundy would be nice. You could continue using ivory and browns to lighten up the dark walls, but could still use some green or burgundy throughout the room to accent it as well.
