Neutral Base

Ryan asked 10 years ago

I purchased about 15 gallons of Rodda Weather Performance exterior flat latex neutral paint, #51 1204 5. Trouble is, it wasn’t until getting it home and trying it on a swath of our house that I realized it isn’t white, but neutral base. I am hoping you can tell me what I need to do/add to make this useable as a white exterior house paint. Is there an additive white tint I can purchase and, if do, where? Please help! Thank you.

No… take it back and get the right stuff…

Bases are untinted, they need tint added to get a color. Neutral bases are for medium dark colors not whites. As mentioned you will need the right tinted paint. Make sure to test any color by applying samples before committing to the purchase.
