Paint looks blotchy on walls.

Anonymous asked 10 years ago

I painted two coats of Benjamin Moore Seaside Sand on my bedroom walls, over top of a pale beige. I checked with the staff at the paint store and they said no primer was needed. Now I’m seeing some blotchy streaks on the wall, almost like the paint was applied thicker in some areas than others. How do I fix this?

Try applying another even coat over the problem areas. See is this will cover up and hide the thick areas. You might have to paint entire walls if the new coat of paint want to flash out, show a different sheen or slightly different color.
