How to paint using the colour red

If you are going to paint using the colour red without having to apply 5 or 6 coats here are some important tips...
- Tint the primer grey and the same shade as the red paint. This helps the red pigment seem like it is filling in as a solid even color and not a transparent mess. This is the most important tip on getting this right.
- Use a quality brush and sleeve for best coverage.
- Use a flat finished paint rather than and eggshell or semi-gloss type of paint.
