You can save time masking windows and materials (interior/exterior) by cutting painters plastic 4-5 inches longer than the window, and tacking it over the window with 4 pieces of tape. This is useful for spraying/rolling out a lid, spraying/rolling out soffits, etc.
Another point is that if you are priming raw sheetrock/ texture, mainly raw texture, you can spray and backroll much faster using a larger tip. My favorite tip for spraying primer indoors is a 629, with an 18 inch roller.
Using this tip makes the gun like a fire hose with pva primer and the backrolling smooths the finish evenly for a quicker procedure. The finish coat obviously should be sprayed with a 617 or smaller, and backrolled.
