Correcting wall color.

Sharon Scarborough asked 10 years ago

I recently painted my bedroom walls and the color dried slightly off from what I wanted. Was thinking of applying an opal glaze product, by mixing in with the remaining can of paint. Will that work?

If the glaze product and the paint are of the same characteristics i.e. latex or alkyd, then yes.

Although I am not certain this will accomplish a color correction. If the color is "slightly off" try applying a second color over in a one coat situation.

What I am suggestion is, do your best to make one coat cover, but don't be too worried as to if it does not as this is a way to get a tone on tone appearance.
