I have installed crown molding. Do I paint the molding first and then cut in the wall paint or do I cut in the wall and then paint the moldings?

Assuming you have painted your ceiling first (a must)… now prime (if necessary) the crown molding and paint it… careful …not to hit that ceiling with your brush… you can brush over the bottom edge (very slightly) onto the wall… finally paint the wall…
BTW did you see if any caulking was necessary first… along the bottom edge of the molding!
