We have basic light oak woodwork and are replacing the hollow core light oak doors with solid painted doors, but what color? Walls are greenish taupe and floors are cherrywood. Help!

White semi gloss will always work… adversely try a light tan, or light brown… always use semi on doors…

Normally the doors are the same color throughout a home, this keeps color continuity in a home. If your ceilings are all or mostly the same color this could be applied to the doors as well, semi-gloss as mentioned. This will look good.
