Painting a Ceiling

Anonymous asked 10 years ago

I’m painting a ceiling. Can I say do half let it dry and do other half tomorrow? Or will I end up with marks that stand out due to me not doing whole surface at once?

You should try to do the entire ceiling in one shot. Yes, stopping half way could produce a visible line. If you have to stop halfway run out the roller to feather out the paint. Do the same with the new paint when you start up again. In other words, feather the paint into each section to lessen the visible line.
