Can I glue leaves on wall before painting to give texture?

A Bad Idea….. but try a sample area and see… just be sure to use (only) a Pigmented Shellac Sealer Primer before painting the leaves…

This could cause some problems; if leaves are dry they will be crumbly and if wet they will rot under the paint. You could look for fake leaves at a hobby store. Or make leaf impressions using drywall mud.
