We are painting our oak cabinets. We lightly sanded and used TSP to clean them. I then applied 2 coats of Bullseye printer because Lowes said that would stick to shinny surfaces better. We are now painting the cabinets with Lowes Valspar Signature Satin White Paint. So far they look really great. I had planned on using MinWax Polycrylic as a finish coat. My question is have I chosen the correct paints and the final finish.

Yes, this is a good primer and paint combination. Technically, the MinWax Polyacrylic isn't needed as the paint does a good job on its own. If you feel that a little extra protection is needed you could simply apply one more coat of paint.

I don't think there would be any issues with applying the clear coat but I haven't used this product, Polyacrylic, over paint.
