Should I apply polyurethane to my deck after 2 coats of weatherproofing wood stain?

It's a choice you have to make… not really necessary (if the weatherproof stain lives up to it's name)… but I would consider a final coat of Clear (satin finish) SPAR VARNISH… Good Luck!

Not needed after using good deck stain. The poly will most likely peel soon after application and could trap moisture in the wood. Best to do regular maintenance with the stain.
