We hung new drywall and painted a satin paint on the walls. It left shiny spots, what should I do?

Well, did you prime the walls first? You should prime the wall completely. If you did not prime you will see were there was patching. And some primers will cause this too we recommend a Zinser 123 interior/exterior primer. But you will have to re prime the walls completely to solve no matter what else you do. Then put your two or three top coats.
