We hired a company in Anchorage Alaska to paint our house. To be honest I just looked in the phone book and picked a contractor that had been in business for some time and was licensed and bonded. Their name was North Pole Contractors.

The owner came out within a couple days to give me a bid on the job and I accepted. They arrived as soon as the weather permitted. They first came with wire brushes and scrubbed every inch or our house. This took almost a full day! They then power washed the house. We waited a week before they came back and put on a coat of primer on our house. They came the next day and put on a coat of semi gloss high quality paint. The next day they put the second coat on. The following day they arrived and did all the trim.

It was absolutely beautiful! It has been five years since our house was painted, we are a southern exposure house and it still looks as good as it did the day they finished. I never saw anyone work as hard as these three painters did. I always tell people about this company. I watched other houses get painted in our neighborhood and none do as much prep work as our painters did. The owner told me that the prep is what makes a great paint job. He must know what he is talking about as our paint looks better than any other house in the subdivision, even ones that have just been painted! To top it off, they gave us a seven year warranty!!
