Dark Touch Up Spots

Dave asked 10 years ago

I have a small wall in a hallway that was painted one year ago with an interior acrylic latex flat enamel paint. I used the same can that the contractor left me to cover a few scuffs and scratches. I used a roller and mixed the paint well. The areas I painted are darker and really show up when looking at the wall from an angle. Any ideas short of repainting the wall. Thanks

Try polishing the spots with a damp soft cloth, this might help blend the spots. If this doesn't work you can try thinning the touch-up paint a little, this might help it blend and try to feather the new paint into the existing paint.
