Did not texture patched holes.

Anonymous asked 10 years ago

I have orange peeled textured walls. The painter patched all the holes and did not texture the area before painting. Now the flat patched area are so obvious. Can it still be fixed now? It looks terrible.

Yes, this can be fixed. You will need a spray can of orange peel texture. Priming should be needed for paints with a flat or satin sheen. For shinier paint the spots will need priming before applying the texture.

The texture can be purchased at any paint or hardware store. Overall it is simple to use but might require a little practice to get the right look.
