My family has been building a house for three years now. This summer I painted my room green and dark blue. I want to paint the two blue walls white again, because my room looks like a pre-school class room.

After preparing any cracks, holes etc with spackle… and assuming you are going to use a Flat Finish (a sheen finish will require spot priming those spackled areas with a pigmented shellac sealer primer)… and since you are trying to cover a darker color… first apply a "wash cost" using the finish coat material… then after it drys, apply your finish coat again…
