This is my first time here. My cabinets and all my woodwork need some sprucing up. Does anyone really know how well some of these wipe-on refinishers really work and how things look afterward? I am afraid things will end up looking worse then before I did them.

I use two different products and like them both, Watco Danish Oil and Howard's Restor-a-Finish. Both work well but they have limits. They are great for covering scratches and putting back some shine. If your wood work is just a little scratched and dry either of these products will word well, it could take 2 coats. Watco has more color and can hide a bit more but takes longer to dry. Both have a strong solvent smell so good ventilation is a must.
