I'll get this started. For interior work the basic tools are; drop cloths, hand masker (paper and plastic blade), 5-way, 1-1/2" and 3 inch putty knifes, good roller frame (Wooster Sherloc compatible), 2-4 and 4-8 roller poles (Wooster Sherloc)
2" and 3" brushes
flat and philips screw drivers
step ladders (step stool and 6 ft)
That would be a basic tool list. For sundries; light weight painters plastic, 1" masking tape 3M 2020), light weight spackle (Dap), masking paper (12"), medium/fine sanding sponge, clean rags lambs wool roller cover (1/2 inch or 3/4") and stir sticks.
This is a basic list. Many more tools and sundries are needed if there is any repairs or cleaning, etc. Height of the walls, amount of furniture, types of trim being painted and number of different colors also dictate what is needed.
