I painted trim (over 20 year old white paint that was over wood stain) and new wooden doors with a paint I picked up off the shelf in the store since I just wanted a basic white color. I then went on the company website to look up something else and realized I purchased a tint base and they say a colorant is needed. My trim and doors look white so did I need to actually add white to my base? Do I have to add more paint and if so, do I need to sand? Should I leave it the way it is? I used Behr Prem Plus Interior Satin Enamel in Ultra Pure White — I thought was white paint, but guessing now just tint. Thank you.
