Answer for Paint exterior asbestos shingles in cool weather.

It should be OK with 50 degrees but lower than that is asking for trouble in the long run. Your biggest problem will be morning dew and having to wait until this dries off before painting.

If the paint isn't is super bad shape then I would wait until spring and better warmer weather. If you can't wait then paint in the sun whenever possible and stop early to allow the new paint a chance to dry before the temperature drops at night.
