Painting Trim

Phil asked 10 years ago

I just primed and painted the trim in my bedroom green and I don’t like the color. Now I think I’ll go with white. Everything was primed and painted with acrylic paint, and I was planning on painting white semi-gloss over the green semi-gloss paint. The question is, do I need to re-prime all of the trim, or can I paint two or three coats of white semi-gloss over the green.

No need to re-prime your trim. Go ahead and paint with the white. Choose a good paint for the best coverage, cheap paint could take 4 coats.
