Sikkens Stain and Muddy Rain Splots

Reapplied Sikkens Cetol stain to 4 year old deck. 2 days later it rained and formed quarter size, muddy, droplets. As my deck begins to dry, the spots are drying very pale tan — like it has stripped the stain away. How do I fix this?

Lightly sand the deck, don't over sand the light spots and reapply a coat of Cetol.
