Thickened Primer

Just the other day I opened up a can of Binzer primer, only to find a solid mass with a watered down milky liquid…..wondering what to do??? Thank you for your help…

Throw it away and get fresh stuff…

You can try to add some solvent to the primer and mix it up to see if it is still good. Read the can label for recommended solvent; water for water based, alcohol for shellac and paint thinner (mineral spirits) for oil base.
