Answer for Volume of Paint & Surface Area

Most paints cover between 300-350 sq/ft or 28-33 sq/meters per gallon. This is per each coat on a smooth surface. To find the area of a wall simply multiply its length x height.

This all depends on the paint, some paints cover more or less area (coverage), and the color you plan on using. Plus the existing color can and will effect the amount of paint needed (coats).
