Hi, I’m trying to finish a fiberglass door with gel stain, mahogany, but it doesn’t give the the dark color to the door. Can you help me on this point? Thanks

Two coats of the gel stain can be applied, allow ample dry time between coats. This will darken the color but could also look like paint if it is applied to thick. Experiment a little on a hidden area, if you got one (maybe behind a kick plate).
If this doesn't work, you can remove the gel stain with lacquer thinner and try a different color or manufacture to get a darker look.
