You can do a few things to have it appear bigger. First things first. A nice sized mirror. Say about 4' X 4'. Put some trim around it (frame it). It will make it look custom without the high price tag. Second, NO DARK COLORS!! I would say a nice earth tone, or lighter. Also go with a semi-gloss. And finally the last thing you can do to make your bathroom seem larger is the lighting. Something that gives off a lot of light, but without being too bright. Meaning go with a frosted white cover but with say two bulbs or more in it. Hope this helps.
