Ceiling paint is fading.

I’ve been staying in my room for a year now, and the paint on my ceiling is fading and the wall paint is turning to white patches and have some green color, looks like molds. What is the cause of these?

Many variables could cause the conditions you reference. Age of construction, Type of construction. Age of coating. Type of heating system. Do you smoke? If able to give greater detail, I will attempt to give you some general ideas.

No, I don't smoke. I don't use aircon. Is it true that its because its not well ventilated? Coz most of the time my windows and door are close.
