A couple possibilities;

1. Not mixed.  If the paint wasn’t put into a shaker for a few minutes the tint could have settled causing color problems.
2. Pre-tined ceiling paint can have different colors, some are blueish while others more tan in color.  Depends on manufacture.
3. Needs another coat, always a possibility.
4. Low quality paint.  Cheap paint can do strange things.
