Chair Rail & Crown Molding Colors

share

I am painting a small dining room. The ceiling is white. The color above the chair rail is a pale yellow. The color below the chair rail is a light lime green. Should I bring in a 3rd color? Darkening up or lighten up one of the other colors?

  1. I would bring in a third, darker color as an accent. Having just pale yellow, light lime green, and white would look kind of washed out. I would add maybe something between a burgundy and a brown to add some depth to the room.

  2. YOU SHOULD DARKEN ONE OF THE OTHER COLOURS AS MENTIONED ABOVE. AS IT IS DARKENED IT'S MORE EYE CATCHING ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE GIVEN. HOPE YOU DO WELL.
