For painting a house in a tropical country, where weather is generally very hot (100 degree F) and highly humid (90%). Is it better to use a acrylic paint or Oil bound distemper?

I think using all acrylic primer and paints will do better in this environment. At least they stand a chance of drying. The oil base will take forever to dry to the touch and cure.

Plus, acrylic paints will breath a little allowing any accumulated moisture to escape. An oil based paint will not do this and could peel much sooner than the acrylic.
