Entry door trim painting.

Anonymous asked 10 years ago

Our wood entry door is being repainted dark red on the outside, and the inside is white. What color should the edges of the door be? What about the interior door frame? Can it be two colors, with the exterior part matching the outside trim and the interior part matching the inside trim? We are flummoxed.

Well with this question you must really use you imagination cause you really can do either one. You could always try it and if you don't like it change it but I would think that all one color would look nicer.

I feel that you should try painting the door edges with the same color as of the one you used on the exterior part, that is red. As far as the interior door frame is concerned, I think it would look better in white. I also believe that you can try the two colors together, hopefully it shouldn't look too right. You should go on painting it white.

I THINK THE COLOR COMBINATION IS PRETTY GOOD.YOU HAVE TO THINK WISELY TO SELECT THE COLOR FOR EDGES OF THE DOOR.YOU SHOULD PAINTED THE EDGES WITH THE LIGHT COLOR OF THE PAINT THAT YOU DECIDED TO APPLY ON THE OUTSIDE. BETTER TO PAINT THE INTERIOR DOOR FRAME WITH ONE COLOR. THEN THE COMPLICATION OF THE DOOR WILL BE GREAT.
