What would be a good finish for an exterior door? It’s red wood pine & has glass panels. Would only a deck oil be good to use for the exterior side?

There are many oil finishes good for exterior use. A great straight oil is pure Tung oil. The biggest thing with all of them is- you will be reapplying and redoing your door often, yearly or more often. If you want a finish that will last longer use a good exterior spar varnish, McCloskey's Man-o-War varnish is a very good finish.
