Need primer for an interior wall and found some old exterior paint primer from the existing owner of the home. Can I use that inside the home?

Yes you can. It might be a little more smelly but primer is primer whether for outside or inside.

Make sure to check it out before application. Crack open the can, stir and thin if needed. If it smells really bad, rotten egg smell, don't use it.
