I am painting an exterior of a house. Right now I’m prepping. My question; on the area’s that do not need scraping do I need to sand every inch of the exterior walls?

Where it is not peeling, cracking, or chipping. you should run a light sander over it to prep it for new paint, but not a must do. Just scrape real well and spot prime all bare spots.
