A warmer of scented oil was spilled on my end table and messed up the top of the table. I had the table refinished and it looks good, just has no shine. Just bought the set and now I am so disappointed in the dull piece. Please help me.

Check with the folks who refinished the table to find out what product was used to finish the table. The oils will usually have some type wax in them which will determine how to remove them. Do not despair, just check with the finisher for suggestions. And send me some onions.
