Hello, I bought satin paint for my whole house interior. I am worried it will be too shiny, is there a way to soften the sheen? We have not painted yet, but have spent too much money on paint mistakes already, I really don’t want to have to scrap it.

The only way to do this is to mix a lower sheen paint (flat) with the satin. Scraping isn't needed either way, just repaint if the sheen is to high.

Test the current sheen before trying to adjust the paints sheen and keep track of the mix ratio for future reference.
