Marks on Walls

Shonya asked 10 years ago

I bought a fairly light colored paint (Dillweed) and did not prime first. Now after it has dried, we can see some big areas on the wall where the kids had at one time drew on the wall. Is there any way of covering it up so that marks don’t show through? We have already put on several coats and still faint marks are showing. I want it done right, but not looking to spend a fortune.

Spot prime the areas where the marks are then touch-up with the paint. Use a stain blocking primer and since your paint has lousy coverage have the primer tinted to approximate the paint color.
