We extended our covered deck area with tongue and groove and used the original stain (4 years old). The new part is lighter and the old stain is no longer available as the store says they are no longer allowed to custom mix oil base stain. How do we get things to match?

Try REMOVING ALL of the stain on both areas, using a Paint & Varnish Remover Product, follow label directions, then restain it with a new stain color that you like…
