I assume you want to paint your cabinets. First wash everything with a strong cleaner and rinse well, allow to dry overnight. You will need to do a light sanding with 150 grit sandpaper or a medium/fine sanding block. Now wipe them with a damp cloth and your ready to prime.

The primer is the most important part. Choose an good acrylic primer for its sticking capabilities. Some on the market can stick to glass. Now you can paint.
