My wife and I painted latex over oil base paint without priming. Now the paint is chipping off. We want to repaint but don’t know if we need to strip it first. What should we do?

Unfortunately there isn’t an easy fix. To do this right stripping is the best option.  Problem, stripping is time consuming and messy.  The only other option is to fix the chipped areas as they happen.
