I want to hire a painter for one of my interior rooms but, he does not have any insurance. What can I do?

You might be able to get a temporary additional insurance added to your normal homeowners insurance plan. This would cost you money. My biggest question is, why doesn't the painter have their own insurance? Minimum liability insurance is basic to any business and especially to painters. Maybe you should look elsewhere for a painter.
