Painter repaired spots he missed but used satin instead of flat which is wrong.

My hired painter missed several spots after painting all my walls with antique white flat paint. He came back and fixed them but used the wrong type of paint. He used satin instead of flat. I am done with them for they just could not get the job right. I want to fix it but don’t know how. What do I do ?

  1. You will need some of the original flat paint. Or you can buy some if you know what manufacture and product was used. Using anyone's flat antique white paint won't work. Every manufacture is a slightly different color and different sheen.

Did the painter leave any original paint cans? Even empty they will have all of the info you need.

Once you have the original paint, use a mini roller to apply some paint to the 'satin' areas.
