I have an old standing seam roof with small holes in it on an early 1800’s house. I wanted to apply an elastomeric paint to seal the roof and then apply Benjamin Moore Ironclad over the elastomeric. Can I paint an oil based paint over elastomeric? I need the roof sealed but don’t want a white roof.

I don't recommend using a standard elastomeric on a roof plus the oil base paint is a bad idea. The oil base paint is not compatible with elastomeric coatings.

A roofing elastomeric or mastics is a better choice. I think Sherwin Williams has a roof coating that is tintable. This would be a better choice.
