I was priming a dull pink room with white primer paint. When I came back with a second coat little beads of bright pink showed up on the wall. Why did that happen? Did something come through the paint from the wall?

Did you use an actual primer or a paint/primer combo? At this point go ahead and spot apply some paint to the spots and let it dry. If the "stains" return then you need to seal these areas with a stain blocking primer. Oil base and shellac stain blocking primer work best.
