Sealing a Restained Door

I am resealing the front door and it bubbles as I apply it. Will the bubbles smooth out and disappear when it dries? How should this be applied, with a cloth, or brush, or foam brush??

Not enough information… what are you using?

Brush or spray is the norm. As long as you are not using a roller, the application method isn't the problem. Need more info.
