What precautions should I take when spraying entire basement with shellac primer?

Not recommended… for various reasons… shellac (which btw is made from the Lac Bug, from SW Asia) does not spray well and tends to CLOG UP sprayers easily… use conventional brush and roll method… you'll do a far better job…
